You contact us
We arrange for a member of our experienced move management team to visit your assignee’s home, and carry out a detailed pre-move survey.
We will use this information as the basis of a bid request document,
We then present a bid summary for the door-to-door move (three from the country the assignee is leaving, and two from the country the assignee is relocating to)
Together we will make a decision on which moving Partners to appoint, based on budget, K2’s quality measures, and feedback from both your past assignees and K2’s extensive database of prior moves.
Advise assignee of next steps and provides chosen supplier with move details.

Your Bid Summary Explained

K2’s unique Bid Summary is the key to assisting you in selecting the best qualified, most competitive moving services provider for your assignee’s relocation.

Our Bid Summary will show a minimum of 3 selected Partners’ rates for your assignee’s move, and we will make our recommendation based on suitability, availability and price. You have complete freedom of choice between any of these suppliers, or you can work with our recommendation.

The Bid Summary will be tailored precisely to your assignee’s requirements, but within the scope of your moving policy and budgetary constraints. We will detail seafreight, airfreight, and road moving components, together with storage at origin or destination, any additional services, and K2 Clear insurance premium.

If your assignee requires storage of goods for the duration of their assignment, we will also detail the most cost-effective option monthly, and for the duration of the assignment. This will enable you to make the best choice of moving supplier based on all relevant criteria. Again we will always assist the process by making a supplier recommendation.
